Youthhood.org

The website, Youthhood.org, is specifically designed by the University of Minnesota to be used by youth needing to learn transition skills.  While the website can be used by youth on their own, there is an adult section, and the youth can also be guided through the youth section by his or her “Youthhood Guide” if needed.  The website has seven sections entitled:  The High School, The Job Center, The Community Center, The Hangout, The Government Center, The Health Clinic, and The Apartment.  The website also includes the ability to have a private online journal, a goal-planner called the “Life Map”, and the ability to vote in Youthhood Polls.  The website allows browsing, but for the full experience a free account must be created for each youth that will use the site.  The website also contains a curriculum guide for adults using the site with youth.
